The price is better because nobody is taking a spread in the middle, and it costs you a few extra minutes and some care about who you trade with.
A peer to peer marketplace lets you choose among individual merchant offers. The displayed price can depend on the payment method, order size and available limit.
Check the merchant's completed order count and the limits on the offer. An excellent rate attached to a small maximum is not an excellent rate for a large amount, and splitting one large trade across three merchants often ends up worse than simply taking the second best price in one go.
